AASTU Orientation 2023 with Zero One Zero One

We are pleased to announce that on February 28 and March 1, 2023, Zero-One Zero-One Tech and Entrepreneurship PLC, in collaboration with AASTU, organized an orientation program for 1520 new students. This program aimed to welcome and orient new students before the start of the academic year.

Student orientation, also known as orientation week, fresh week, or welcome week, is when universities hold events to welcome and orient new students. During AASTU’s Big Welcome and Orientation Week, Zero-One Zero-One Tech and Entrepreneurship provided an opportunity for new students to make new friends, explore their new homes, and settle into university life.

The program included informative sessions conducted by various departments where they explained their engagements and their curriculum, offering insight into each field. This will help the students make informed decisions when choosing their departments after one year. The program also provided students with additional information such as the number of colleges, departments, and laboratories they have to choose from, enabling them to make thoughtful decisions.

The orientation’s objective was to brief students on all the essential information they need as they prepare to begin their student life. Additionally, there are a wide range of student support and information services, as well as friendly and supportive staff, available to assist with any academic, non-academic, or well-being issues during their time at the university.
