Zero One Zero One Tech & Entrepreneurship Triumphs in Collaborative New Student Orientation at Addis Ababa Science and Technology University

Zero One Zero One Tech & Entrepreneurship is pleased to announce the triumphant conclusion of the Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU) New Student Orientation, held from December 03 to December 05, 2023. Collaborating with AASTU, we co-hosted this three-day event that welcomed over 1500 incoming students to the university community.

Igniting Potential from Day One
The orientation program was meticulously designed to provide a comprehensive and engaging introduction to university life. We were proud to play a part in welcoming new students and their families, setting the stage for a successful academic journey.

Exploring Opportunities and Building Connections
Over the course of day two and day three, students embarked on a journey of discovery. They explored the diverse academic departments at AASTU through informative presentations, gained firsthand experience through laboratory visits, and learned about the university’s extensive support services. Our team also participated by showcasing the products and services offered by Zero One Zero One Tech & Entrepreneurship, sparking the students’ interest in the exciting future ahead of them. In addition, our esteemed partners – The Association for Talent Development in Ethiopia (ATD-Ethiopia), Dashen Bank, and Enat Bank – also presented their offerings from their respective booths, further enriching the students’ experience.

Inspiring the Future Generation
The closing day featured a lineup of inspiring keynote speeches. Dr. Dereje, the esteemed AASTU president, and Dr. Tarekgn, the former president, shared their wisdom and guidance with the incoming class. University officials further enriched the experience by offering valuable insights. A particularly engaging session featured Dr. Gemechu, Mr. Addis, and our very own CEO, Kidist. These distinguished guests shared their unique perspectives on education and entrepreneurship, igniting the students’ passion and entrepreneurial spirit.
